Now we're looking for one Lead Engineer/Founding Engineer, who helps shape Manor's technical development and plays a key role in building our product and team.
Your role
As Lead Engineer/Founding Engineer You are one of the first technical employees at Manor and work closely with the CTO and CEO. You are Hands-on in development, makes core technological decisions and helps build up the engineering team from the ground up.
This role is ideal for a person who is in a dynamic startup environment feels good, with Ownership and Design leeway. Your contribution will directly influence the direction of Manor — from Architecture through scaling to product innovation.
Your tasks
- End-to-end development: From architecture to development to implementation and scaling of our platform.
- Make technological decisions: Selecting technologies, frameworks, and best practices for a scalable and secure platform
- Design an AI and data strategy: Development and integration of AI-powered solutions for document processing, ID checks, credit checks and automated processes.
- Managing cloud infrastructure: Ensuring a stable, secure and high-performance environment (prefers Google Cloud Platform - GCP).
- Build & lead an engineering team: Support in recruiting and mentoring new developers.
- Agile work & fast iterations: Working with product and design to implement innovations efficiently.
What you should bring
- Experience in software development (at least 4+ years) with focus on Backend and/or full stack development.
- Profound knowledge of Python, modern web frameworks, APIs, and cloud technologies (GCP preferred).
- experience with Databases, system architecture, and scalability.
- Ideally, know-how in AI/ML-based applications or data processing.
- Enthusiasm for Startups, ownership and hands-on mentality.
- Motivation to help build a platform from the ground up and shape it in the long term.
